Villa Kalyana is located in the beautiful and peaceful fishing village of Jimbaran, found on the southern coastal area of Bali. Down a charming private lane of palm trees and tropical vegetation, at once both peaceful and secluded, the villa offers a slice of heaven just a few minutes walk to breathtaking Jimbaran Bay. Its close proximity to the international airport, world-class resorts, as well as shopping districts and fabulous restaurants makes it an ideal getaway within reach of the vibrant, fashionable areas should guests wish to experience a more hustle and bustle side of the island. Master Bedroom
This amazingly spacious master bedroom, with an equally spacious en-suite bathroom including an open dressing area, is made for romance. It opens up onto the swimming pool area by folding teak doors, complete with light flowing draperies that catch on the tropical breeze. The room itself has an inviting king-size bed, framed by the massive teak wood beams of the antique Joglo, which houses the entire room. A cozy desk area facing the pool, as well as an entertainment system completes the whole experience. The bathroom features a custom-made clawfoot bathtub as well as a semi outdoor shower area and old-fashioned ceramic sinks.
Bedroom One
Though similar in design, Villa Kalyana's two bedrooms have each their own feel and distinguishing features. Bedroom One comprises a study area under the mezzanine, a space optimizing detail, which also adds to the appreciation of the traditional whitewashed ceilings. The en-suite bathroom, with the detail of an antique teak door wardrobe, as well as a delightful custom designed copper bathtub and washbasin and an outdoor rain shower, complete the exclusive and refined mood. The a la carte menu has a wonderful variety of fresh dishes, to the delight of all tastes, and is very reasonably priced considering guests are catered to by a personal chef and body of staff. Villa Kalyana is very spacious and can offer its guests an array of dining options around the property. The kitchen terrace is a more relaxed affair, perfect for having breakfast as the day begins, overlooking the landscaped gardens amongst the birds and butterflies. From around the pool, where sun-beds are set up on the decking, all day snacks, fresh tropical fruit and crisp fresh salads may be enjoyed, offering a healthy choice whilst sunbathing and dipping. As evening sets in, this same area is perfect for casual star-lit barbeques of fresh local catches and tender cuts, or more formally, an exclusive dinner may be set up with linens and candles anywhere in the garden, or around the pool, reflecting the deep blue heavens above. The indoor dining area seats ten guests at its beautiful long heavy wooden table, where wood is the theme, being directly under the main teak Joglo, which has an impressive overhanging chandelier, complete with antique wooden floors and comfortable wooden chairs with soft cushioned materials.
Living Area
Villa Kalyana's space is what you would expect of the timeless style of the tropics. A vast, open, living area with a plunging view onto the stunning panorama of landscaped gardens, out and over the private swimming pool, framed by flowing drapes of heady materials. This part of the Villa is perfect for unwinding at the end of the day or simply relaxing, with plump cushioned antique sofas, beautiful attention to detail with vases and flowers, as well as an incredibly interesting array of artifacts and antiques from across the archipelago.
Kitchen
The kitchen has all that a master chef could ever dream off, including a body of staff to cook and clean up. It is spacious enough to dine in or hang out at, around the central French country style table. All mod cons can be found in Kalyana's kitchen from appliances to crockery and tableware. Again the attention to detail, from hand crafted floor tiles to antique teak cupboards, complete the authentic yet exclusive feel; a fabulous journey through the ages of Indonesia.

The centrally located decked swimming pool is perfect for toning laps under the tropical early morning sun, or simply having a languid dip under the shade of the palm trees flanking it, during the heat of the day. It is an impressive 18 x 4.5 meters salt water pool, and has a number of comfortable sun-beds surrounding it from where to laze away the day. An outdoor shower makes the Kalyana pool experience complete, all under a canopy of birdsong.Pool Pavilion
Alongside the sizeable swimming pool is the antique pool pavilion, made entirely from Javanese teak wood, in the traditional design know as 'gladak', from where to change if so desired. This south facing property receives the sun all day, so for the sun worshippers of you, it is a haven; just imagine a light barbeque and drinks with friends as the swollen sun sets, at the end of a fabulous day, around your own private pool.
